This project almost began very differently. When we arrived to measure up the space, we quickly discovered that the initial architectural layouts were incorrect. A rethink was needed, but the way forward was clear: open it up.

The original narrow kitchen and adjoining rooms were transformed. Indoor and exterior walls came down, part of the outdoor patio was brought inside, ceilings were lowered, and the area became a blank canvas for a masterpiece.

Our clients wanted to make the kitchen truly integral and continuous with the surrounding dining and entertaining zone. The result is a transformation into an amazing living space.

The details make all the difference. Award-winning LEICHT kitchen fronts marry perfectly with bespoke reeded glass feature doors, meticulously sourced to match other glass in the home. Hidden storage is plentiful, wrapping around the room with pull-out drawers, a spacious pantry, multiple cupboards, and delightfully slim LEICHT Fios shelving.

A custom island hosts a casual breakfast bar, dedicated wine cooler, and powerful hob with downward extractor. State-of-the-art Siemens ovens are integrated flawlessly into the wall of cupboards just opposite.

And as for that secret door? It is built into the full-height units, leading directly into a handy utility room. Great for those extra appliances, but also a good spot for a secret midnight feast.
